Paper trade prediction markets with zero risk
A free Firefox and Edge extension that docks a paper trading terminal to the bottom of any Polymarket event page. Place simulated orders at live prices, track every position in a real blotter, and build a verifiable track record before you put real money on the line.

How it works
Paper trading Polymarket in three steps
The simulator runs on top of the site you already read. There is nothing new to learn and nothing to fund.
-
01
Install the extension
Add it from Firefox Add-ons or the Edge Add-ons store. No sign-up, no wallet connection, no email.
-
02
Open any Polymarket event
A trading drawer docks to the bottom of the page with the live order ticket for that market.
-
03
Trade, track, review
Size a simulated position, watch it mark to the live book, and review your win rate over time.
Features
A real terminal, not a toy demo account
Live order ticket
Size a position in shares or dollars and see cost, payout and return before you commit — priced off the real Polymarket book.
Full position blotter
Every open and closed simulated trade in one dense grid, continuously marked to market with unrealized P&L.
Track record and win rate
Win rate, average return, best and worst trades, and streaks — the evidence that tells you whether your edge is real.
Per-position detail
Drill into entry price, current mark and the odds curve since you opened, so you can see exactly where a thesis went right or wrong.
Stays out of the way
Collapse the drawer to a single status strip. The Polymarket page you are reading is never covered or modified.
Private by default
Your simulated portfolio is stored locally in your browser. No account, no server, no tracking of what you trade.
Why paper trade
Prediction markets punish untested confidence
Reading a Polymarket page and believing the crowd is wrong is easy. Being right often enough to profit is not. Prediction market prices are probabilities, and a trader who wins 60% of the time on markets priced at 70 cents is still losing money. The only way to find out which side of that line you are on is to record your calls, at real prices, with real timestamps, and look at the result.
Polymarket Simulator gives you that record. It is paper trading for prediction markets in the same sense equities traders mean it: simulated fills at the live book, held in a portfolio that marks to market, with a track record you cannot quietly edit after the fact. Because the drawer sits on the event page itself, there is no copying odds into a spreadsheet and no gap between the moment you form a view and the moment it is logged.
Use it as a demo account while you learn how event contracts settle. Use it to test a thesis across a dozen markets before sizing anything real. Or use it to check, honestly, whether the last three months of confident takes actually made money.

FAQ
Common questions
Is Polymarket Simulator free?
Yes. The extension is free to install and use, with no paid tier, no account and no wallet connection required.
Does it use real money?
No. Every trade is simulated. Nothing is ever submitted to Polymarket, and no funds of any kind move. It is a paper trading environment only.
Are the prices real?
Yes. Simulated fills and marks use the live odds shown on the Polymarket event page you have open, so your paper portfolio moves with the actual market.
Is this an official Polymarket product?
No. Polymarket Simulator is an independent third-party browser extension and is not endorsed by or operated by Polymarket.
Where is my data stored?
Locally, in your own browser. Your simulated positions and track record are never uploaded to a server and are not shared with anyone.
Which browsers are supported?
Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Install it from Firefox Add-ons or the Edge Add-ons store — both builds are free and identical.
